I know there is a caravan for RTR going out of KOP for the Swap Meet; is there anyone from the Lehigh Valley interested in doing a caravan for those of in the Northern part of the club?

in order to do that you would need insurance and waivers

I could be wrong, but I think Brian would only need the insurance/waivers if he was organizing a formal caravan on behalf of RTR. So, if he just happens to meet a few people for breakfast at a diner and then they all leave for the swap around the same time, I don't think it would be considered an official RTR caravan. If we put it on the RTR calendar and promoted it as an RTR caravan, then that would be different. It would also be different if Brian was a member of the RTR Exec, Speed Council, or Auto-X Council - that would also make it more of a formal club activity I think.

Marty, your response sounds like the common sense approach to things and was the intent of my question. Just some guys in Porsches driving to Hershey, nothing formal, just something fun and of common interest.

Great turnout. Was there a head/car count for the caravan? More Porsches at Hershey this year than show up at the annual parade. Perfect day. Thanks for the coffee and arrangements Jeff.

Cheers.

Bud
