Are there any trailering groups heading down to Shenandoah? As this is my first time trailering, I would like to tag along with others (any brave soul want to drive behind me?)

Referring to Mankowski's post, we can unload between 6:30 & 7:30. Also, when I drove directly to the hotel, I took I-81, but is it better to take 15 / 340 directly to the track?

I will be leaving late on Friday from City Line Ave around 6:30pm and will be trialering too.

If you want we can meet up at the Valley Forge Toll plaza at aroung 7:00pm.

Lou, to get to the track from 81, you would get off at Inwood and follow Rt. 11 to Rt. 51 (not far).  Continue on Rt 51 to Middleton and turn right.  This will be Leetown Road and there will be signs for the racetrack once you get to Rt. 51.

What time are you planning on hitting the road?  I may leave early afternoon but would meet up with you, if possible.

My goal (best made plans don't always work) is to role about 2:00PM. Going to catch the turnpike in KP and go to 81 to Inwood as Steve Recomended. Call me on my cell (215)519-4140 if you want to hook up.

Correct.

This is the best way to get to the track from 81 if you want to drop off the trailer at the track then head to the hotel. Be careful on Leetown Rd. Some parts are 35 mph and they love to ticket us yankees with trailer haulin' poooorsha's. Big Grin

I'm planning to be on the road about the same time if anyone wants to pick a spot to meet and travel together.

I envy you all.

I can't leave work from City Ave. until 6:30pm.  Interesting thing here is that I can't trailer my car up this weekend because wife needs tow vehicle.  Her car's clutch is not working well.

I'll be driving up and hopefully Darren can carry my track tires up.

The ride down will be fast.
