Hard to see what they are doing based on the current track map here: http://www.njmotorsportspark.com/html/ro...cuits.html.

The North course looks like either The Lightning (1.85 miles) or Screaming Deamons (2.60 miles). The South course could be The Corsair (2.57 miles) or The Grumman (1.71 miles) or The Lockheed (1.69 miles) or The Republic (1.47 miles) or The Spitfire (2.54 miles).

None of these match up with Tony's names or lengths. Maybe they're doing something completely different?

In any event, I eagerly await updates and explanations. Thanks, Nick, for following up on this!

Thanks for the link Chris.  An interesting facility concept if they will have all the various configurations.  Maybe they will limit the number of track options per year thus keeping the layouts fresh for the drivers.

And from the look of the thunderbolt course.....can't wait! Big Grin

Quote:Tony, where did you learn this? The web site is woefully out of date. Can you say where the changes will be on the track diagram that is posted on the web site?
I spoke to one of the principals regarding the villas and this was explained to me. I'm with Bob - I just want the track to be built and we can dream of the "big" track later on.

Thanks, Tony. Can you share the scoop on the villas? I heard they were popular and being built sooner than originally planned. HAve they announced pricing and design details?

Any track is better than no track and the sooner the better!
