...yup, that's a scary movie.. although mostly from the amount of hearing loss induced by the whine of the supercharger. That hurt my ears to watch, never mind being in the car.

I think all the noise is from the SQ trans in the car not a blower.

Correct. The car has a 280bhp 2.0l 4 cylinder with a 7 speed sequential in it. It is normally aspirated. Impressive car. I think I want one. Cool

Wellardmac needs to get out more!!

You will have to go to some German touring races you will hear all the SQ transmissions VERY LOUD. The last guy I saw drive one had wax ear plugs and duct tape on his ears. He also had a very thick shifting glove on as the vibration would put his hand to sleep. Does not sound like fun but they sure are fast.

I was at a DTM race a couple months ago at the Euro Speedway, the tranny noise is pretty incredible but it would also be nice to have one. If you ever get the chance to see one,  go as the series is pretty impressive and the support races were great. I usually spend a weekend a month in Germany so I am hoping to catch another one this year.

If you get access to a car like that (and are as skilled as he is), then you can take me out any time. Smile
