Thanks for the kind comments - glad that you enjoyed the photos.

Peter, I'll gladly email photos to you - just let me know which ones you want.

As for technique, well, the lighting forced a fast shutter speed (I can look it up if you need it), but mostly the secret is to find areas of the course with a good view of the cars when they have to slow slightly to make a turn. I then pre-focus on a specific spot in the frame and hold the focus. Keep your finger half way down on the shutter, then as the first half of the car enters the frame hit the shutter the rest of the way - that will (mostly) give you a good shot of the car centered in the frame. Most of the time it works, although if you happen to move the frame slightly, then that can knock the focus off a little and if your reflex is slightly off, then you can be off center, but that's easily fixed with a little cropping. Smile

Additionally, if you're interested in specific pictures you can download them directly from the flickr site linked above.

If you click on each photograph you'll see an icon of a magnifying glass that says "all sizes" Click on that and it should open the large size version of the image. Click on "Download the large size" and the image is yours.

I believe that I set the large image size to 800x511, so it's a nice sized image.

Glad that you like the photo Dennis. To me that one looks like a front cover for Der Gasser. Smile
