At the annual banquet, I received the most improved novice sprinter award.   Starting at the bottom leaves lots of room for improvement!  I learned a lot this year.  Being a slow learner, it took three (3) spins to fully understand the term “throttle off oversteer�?.   Had a lot of fun at the events and met  a whole bunch of great people.   Many thanks to all the instructors and other participants who helped me.  I would name them, but I fear I might forget someone. 

 

Looking forward to the 2008 autocross season and seeing you folks again for some fun and friendly competition and car control education.

 

Picture of plaque attached.  Check out the names dating back to 1972.  If I get to be half as good as Nick B. in 12 years, I’ll be in good shape!
