Has anyone ran an EMRA High Performance DE?  What did you think of it?

hi nick.

i've never done any DEs with them, but have raced extensively with them for a bunch of years.....

they are a very friendly, laid back kind of group.  the quality of the cars that typically attended the events was heavily leaning towards what i'd consider "todd reid type cars".....  Cool

many many many lower priced, lower prepped, cosmetically not-so-pleasing cars -- the Probe would be considered a 'pretty nice looking EMRA racecar'.

your 930 would be a 'super-duper-duper nice' car.

that being said, i have had some of my most fun weekends running with them!

PS  there used to be a guy with a Renault LeCar that would start every race.  i don't think i ever saw him finish one!!!  and he had some company;  one of the other guys in his class raced a mostly stock MG Midget.  it was fun trying to guess before the race started which axle was going to snap this time, or which part of the electrical system was going to fail before the checker flew?  it was intriguing to line up on the grid, and 20% of the cars were Alfas or Fiats!
