Just purchased a '77 924 w/ very low mileage and lots of long time storage issues -   looking for recommendations or leads on qualified mechanics in the northern Burlington County, NJ or Lower Bucks Co, PA region.  Can anyone in the RTR help w/ that?

Thanks -

new to Porshe but long time VW owner and plain old fan of fun cars....

I've been pleased with work done at the RSBARN in Newtown lower Bucks County.  Pete Fitzpatrick is a front engine Prosche specialist and could probably work closely with you to reach your goals with the car.

The Stripes are very cool....I've seen them on the green version....not too many around with the stripe option.  I think they only put them on for one year.  How's the rest of the car?

Thanks ... we are very pleased w/ her.  The car has long time storage issues ... just had the gas tank R&R and other fuel system work.  Have other "sat too long" things with which to deal, but overall, we are thrilled.  The body is true w/ original everything - some rust sores but nothing severe.  She has low mileage, although we are not sure exactly have far she really has gone, but then again, a lady never tells such things.

She's a fun little car, and we are looking forward to a long term project of restoring her back to pristine (concourse is not our deal ... just pretty on the road and fun to drive).

Thanks again for asking.  By the way - we were shopping for a '63 Ford Falcon ... and you see what came home with us!

All good words.  He finished off a 1988 944 restoration and is settin up a 1995 968 for DE and Autocross. Easy ride from Burlington.  Good luck.  Welcome to RTR

First of all congratulations and welcome to the club. I can't really give any recommendations but you'll come across some really cool people and you'll do alot of really neat stuff with that car, plus you might even learn a thing or two about DIY. You'll find these cars are pretty basic in design but can absolutely take a beating.
