Selling the Safety Devices Rollbar from my 996, seen below. It's a nice bolt-in rollbar.
$500 (Was $900 new)

There are two plates at the bottom that need to be welded to the rear seat bottoms, and then the bar bolts to them. This avoids the bad design most bolt-in bars use with the main hoop bolted in shear to the seat belt mounting points. The main hoop actually ties into a structural part of the car giving you the safety you'd expect from a rollbar.

I also paid a cage builder to relocate the harness bar up higher to create the proper shoulder belt angle.

Still trying to sell this and no bites Smile Someone has to need one!  $500 installed.  I'll throw in the belts but they expire after this year.

I sold my bar finally on Rennlist and shipped it up to Connecticut.  The guy had just bought a 99 996 for $13k with track upgrades! There are some great deals on cars out there right now.
