I had a great time at Lightning this weekend. I would like to thank everyone involved in making this event possible. The friendship and camaraderie at these events is amazing. It’s something you just can’t explane to people who haven’t attended our events.

This weekend I got a rare opportunity to see our Club through the eyes of several guests. All of you who were at Lightning this weekend impressed them tremendously--the knowledge of cars and driving that you shared, the friendly welcome you gave them and the caring spirit you showed your fellow Club members all drew notice.

I knew that this was a special place, but I didn't appreciate that as fully as I do now.

Today one of our members wore an older RTR T-shirts with the legend "It's not just the cars . . . it's the people." That may be just a slogan to some, but I know it to be the truth.

Ditto.  Kudos for the mini run group schedule/track map!!!  It was a constant companion all weekend.

Only issue I saw was the lack of volunteers for the work sessions.

Another outstanding weekend!  Thanks to everyone, but especially Miles.  He has taken this new position in a very tough year and our already great events keep improving.  Can't wait till Thunderbolt on the 15th!

Great weekend, Kudos to all.  In particular to Jonathan and all the other instructors who gave so much of their time and energy under extreme heat and questionable student talent.  Learned alot.  Somebody has to do something about that little blue MiniBig Grin

Had a great time this past weekend.  Thanks to all that made it possible and a special thanks to Bill Dougherty and his guys for getting me back on the track after the first session on Friday.  Thought I messed up my clutch real bad but it turned out to be a simple fix that I never would have been able to diagnose.

It was a great weekend. Chris is right about how nice our club members are. It is my second summer of DE. I have been impressed with the warm welcomes to us newcomers to the sport and the group.

This weekend, I was really helped by all the instructors, Dave , Steve and Tony who jumped into my car and helped my really progress. It was a great weekend in every aspect
