I just read on Rennlist that the club house at Watkins Glen was on fire and was a total loss. Confirmed it on goggle news that it was the Glen Club and it is a total loss. Reports say it did not damage the race track.

2002 Boxster - Her car but I get to drive it
2008 Cayenne S - Her daily driver
2006 Ford F-250 crew cab diesel - Porsche Suppport Vehicle & Tow truck

Now that buffet fish they serve will be extra well done. Wink I hope they rebuild soon since the rooftop is a great place to get pictures of turn 2 and the esses.

they'll probably have something rebuilt by IRL (7/8) or Nascar (8/12).

at least it doesn't appear that anyone was hurt, including the track.  The Club can always be rebuilt - and that's a good thing.  The old club was getting a little "dated"
