I think Survival was the key word. This is a very unique track cut into the side of a mountain that no pictures or videos can prepare you for. There are tons of rocks, and I mean rocks, not pebbles or small stones, that are waiting off track to be pulled onto the surface if anyone happens to drop a wheel. I lost a windshield on the first day. Sad There were other reports of racers losing radiators, gas tanks, and even a rock went straight through a tire and was found on the inside. There is not a lot of room if you make a mistake, so you really had to leave some room for error. I don't recall anybody having a major incident which is amazing.

It's a very fun track, but doesn't seem to race well. It's a very busy track with corner after corner. It's very hard to pass even if you are a second faster. All the corners are very late apex which invites someone to dive bomb down the inside. It should be ok for DE though. The elevation changes are amazing.

There still wasn't any curbing there and the paddock was still all stones. I'm sure they'll continue to make improvements to make it more friendly. I'm not sure at this moment whether I'd go back. On the one hand it was fun to drive, but I don't like my car getting beat up. I guess I'll wait to see how it evolves. But I survived!

CVR distributed these 2 links in advance of their event next week, seem very informative and helpful:

Bob - good info. If you use line described in the video and instructions you will be 95% there. You may put in your own small tweaks but it is a great starting point.

Heard that the track has installed some curbing and paddock garages. Also some bathrooms. Anyone planning on trying it this year?

The track has been getting some very good reviews... I'm strongly considering NNJR's event in August. (Registration opens June 22.)
