South Shore Track Days

Here is a new group offering Advanced track days specifically designed to provide an event for Instructors and advanced drivers to hone their skills.


I have secured the track at NJMP on particular days for advanced driver events. The first advanced day we have secured is being held on the Thunderbolt circuit and is backed up to our Metro NY DE event in April (the advanced day being 4/7). These advanced days are very limited as I am allowing only 40 or so cars in. I plan two run groups. An "A" group with the faster more powerful cars and then a "B" group. Each group should get at least seven 1/2 hour sessions. There will be a track walk as well as a classroom. These days will be geared towards allowing the driver to really critique his or her skills, hopefully increasing his or her skill level. Every Metro instructor is bcc'd in this email as Metro Instructors get first debs on these days. Approximately two months before each event date I will open registration up to all Solo drivers. Once we have 40 cars registration will close. The cost per day is $399. These events will be run very similar to the very well attended David Murray Track Days. Basically an open track forum with passing ANYWHERE.

Payment can be in the form of check payable to Shore Shore Track days or Pay Pal (checks preferred). Please put the event date on the left bottom corner of your check. Address to send payment is in the signature.
You will receive an email conformation of your registration.
There are no cancellations for these advanced days. Like DMTD's you can sell your spot if the driver fits the driving criteria. Events will run rain or shine.

I have a question for you as well. Would you like this type of advanced day scheduled on Lightning the day before our Metro DE at Lightning which is held on the seventh and eighth of October? This advanced day would be held on the 6th.

So far we have these dates confirmed and secured:

April 7th Thursday at Thunderbolt
May 10th Tuesday at Thunderbolt
July 12th at Thunderbolt
September 14th at Thunderbolt

We may do two events in October (to be announced).
