Hey all! New guy here, just picked up a 2010 CS a few weeks back. Saw the 2022 HPDE schedule and want to give the Intro DE a go. Just wondering which track is recommended, Pocono North or NJMP Lightning? Last time I was on track was 20 years ago with 2 less wheels, and my history with Pocono was not great. lol. But just looking at the track videos I'm wondering if NJMP is more fun to lap. A little further drive from home, but not concerned about that. Any thoughts? Thanks

Welcome!  Both of those tracks are fun.  Any reason you don't want to do both?  lol, I'd expect that you'd do the intro day at Pocono North in May and then realize you love it and then sign up for the whole weekend at NJMP Lighting.

Welcome to a great addiction :-)

Haha, I'm all too well aware of the addiction. Smile. Spent a small fortune back in the day racing bikes, dragging the wife and dogs along for full weekends. So I promised her I would keep this just occasional fun.....for now. lol

I went down twice at Pocono funny enough, so it's certainly not my personal favorite track, but watching onboard laps, NJMP just looks a bit more intriguing. It's what I'm leaning towards, but figured I ask around first.

Seems you are leaning towards NJMP based on your messages. I'd still vote for both but either way, you won't have a bad time.
