Hi all,
I'm considering obtaining a dedicated track car (Porsche of course) and would love some input. I've seen a number of cars already track/race prepped and ready to go. I'm trying to keep costs down, so no GT3 or anything like that. I'm actually considering a 928 or 944, maybe an older (spec?) Boxster. I may even be inclined to build one myself, but I am VERY inexperienced and would more likely have most of it done at a shop.
I have a Boxster 981 now, but don't want to convert it to a dedicated track car. I have taken it to the most recent HPDE at NJMP and loved it. I'll also be at Watkins Glen in a few weeks, but I don't want to beat up my current car. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone knows of an available car, please let me know. Thanks!!
