When I got involved with DE events, I really got hooked big time.  I've been to a lot of events and I always heard people say... "George, you really ought to consider getting track insurance... in case you have a Kodak moment."

Well, I'm ready to get that kind of coverage, although it seems some carriers are no longer writing these policies, or I'm calling the wrong people.

Does anyone know of any agencies that still offer DE or Track Insurance?

Thanks.

That said...its def worth it as, this past weekend at Summit, I had a sweet kodak moment decimating a deer at 115 mph at summit...guy behind me got footage...he said he would try to find me and get it to me...haha

that ones gonna be 5k easy...

wait...does this mean Im the new wildlife champ? Or do we need different classes for that too?

Sorry about the deer.  That's a problem down there at Summit Point.  Let me know if you have any insurance company names I could try.

I'm going through the exercise of finding DE insurance for next spring.  It looks like the only company that is reputable and offers it around here anymore is Laurel.

See:  http://www.laurelde.com/

The problem with their product is the 15% deductible and not-so-cheap premiums.  SO drew, your $5k deer damage would still be paid out of pocket.

Snellings walters was the insurer of choice, but they're no longer taking new clients.  Not sure how much longer they'll be insuring existing clients either.

BTW, sorry to hear about the deer damage!!!  How bad is it?  What turn did you meet this unfortunate creature?
