fast forward the video to get to the ring part.

Yes, I know it is a Porsche forum but I grew up on Camaros.

Watching the vid and having done alot of laps on the ring.  It looked really slow.  When I saw a 997 cab go by the Camaro like it was a 4cyl assured me I was not being a hard ass. Big Grin

It looked like the driver slowed to let the cab by. That car couldn't be that slow. But as a former '78 Z28 owner & lover I have to say that the new Camaro looks like crap. I don't know what looks worse, the stupid grinning grille in the front or the kit car look of the back.

Larry,

I have come to appreciate and acknowledge your wisdom, but not this time. I think the new Camaro is absolutely stunning. Maybe the difference is you had a gen 2 Camaro. I had 2 gen 1 Camaros and a gen 1 Firebird.

The Camaro in any iteration just represents the garbage produced by Detroit.  And then they have the gall to wonder why they have no customers in my age group.  What an ugly, dumb car.

You could be right, and I will reserve judgement until I actually see one, but I honestly was less than enthused by the video of it on the Nurburgring.

Looks to me like the engineers took a new Mustang and Charger and had an abortion. No original designs left?
