FYI.....

Steve Mc

On Saturday, 8th November the Delaware Valley Chapter of the BMW CCA will be holding our first adult car control clinic on Saturday 8th, November at Montgomery County College in Blue Bell PA.

We've had many parents who have brought their teens to our Street Survival program ask for a similar course for them, or other their husband, wife, significant other or older child. Well, now we're going to do it!

The plan is modeled after the young driver Street Survival programme that we do for kids, but modified for adults. Targeted to folks who have been driving for at least 3-5 years, the programme will involve some theory and lots of practical exercises, including:

• Skid Pad
• Figure 8 Skid Pad
• Rapid lane change
...As well as many other maneuvers you can't safely experience on the highway (but where knowing how to handle them in an emergency can be the difference between life and death).

This will be an excellent course for any one who has been driving for a while, and would like to improve their accident avoidance skills.

Location: Montgomery County College in Blue Bell PA.
Schedule: Instructors and Students should arrive and register before 9:00AM. The day will end around 4pm.
Cost: $75 for students

Misc:
- Coffee and light breakfast will be provided.
- Lunch will also be provided
- No SUV's or trucks.

To register please go to:

motorsportreg.com

New drivers will need to set up an account in order to register. If you would prefer me to register you, please e-mail me at:

instructors@delvalbmwcca.org.

Hope to see you there!

Regards,

Martin Bullen
Vice President and Instructor Coordinator
