Saturday March 14th starting at 2 pm I am hosting another Brake Clinic for our less mechanically experienced members.  I will combine this with a demonstration and review of what is required for your car to pass the safety tech required to attend a DE.

Please respond in this thread or by PM if you plan to come so I know how much beer to get. Smile

My address is 740 Tennis Ave, Ambler PA 19002.

Larry, I'm not sure how big you want to make it but if you're trying to get class attendance you might have Carol get you a list of green students e-mail addresses and send an invitiation to them. It may help get your attendance up. I'll do whatever I can to help. I just wish I didn't live so far away. We could have used my car since I'm about to do the brake cooling conversion and I since everything has to come apart anyway...

PM me if there is anything you can think of that I can do to help you.

The clinic was a huge success.  Over 30 people attended and it was well received.

Next up is an alignment clinic for the advanced mechanical and DIY types out there.

Stay tuned.

Larry,

Thank you for hosting it.  It was about time I attended something like that.  Very informative; there's nothing like seeing in person how some things are done -- and why.  Whether one generally does the work him/herself, or has someone else do it, it's great to understand ("an educated consumer" etc.).  I especially appreciated some of the related information (e.g., bleeding clutch and periodically replacing braided stainless lines).

This was a wonderful session. I wish I had been to one like this when I first started--everything one needs to know was laid out clearly and concisely, the demonstration was first rate and questions were answered thoroughly. Really excellent!
