I just bought a Chris Karras's #40 spec miata yesterday ..... so someone else from the club should buy this great car from Chris Kellet and we can have some great fun kicking some porsche ass (well in the corners anyway).....

These are great cars to drive and to learn in --- I love my 997 but the car looks after and flatters me .... and is too expensive to crash ..... so i am going over to SM to learn how to drive (and hopefully race) a lower powered momentum car which i think will make me a much better driver in the long run. this is a hell of a car for $11.5K ..... and include all of the important safety equipment inc full roll cage. 'tis better to crash in a slow, safe, cheap car than a fast, expensive porsche!

here's a video of 5 laps of TB this weekend in my little #40 Spec miata with NASA NE (where Darren, Bob & Dan were also racing). There was some pretty shocking drivers with high powered cars out in the solo groups .... which once again makes me appreciate RTR DE and all of the free instruction

Chris Kellet's car is a very good deal at that price, and you have heard how much fun SSM and SM are with the SCCA and NASA. Lots of close racing near by, and very affordable.
