SCCA updates their car classifications, car handicapping number (PAX), and rule book yearly.
Stock car classifications can be found at:http://cms.scca.com/documents/2011%20Tech/2011%20stock%20listings.pdf
If I had been paying more attention, I would have noticed that my 1987 911 which used to be in "B" stock (BS), has now been moved to CS. In the pdf, the abbreviation NOC is Not Otherwise Classified.
Modifying your car may affect your car classification. For some light reading on the subject and other SCCA rules, refer to: http://www.scca.com/documents/2011%20Tec...0Rules.pdf
