Anyone else planning to go this weekend? The weather forecast is excellent: sunny with highs in the mid- to high 60s. I will drive up Thursday evening and could convoy.

Chris,

You crazy!!!! What about Cups & Saucers in two weeks?  You need to club race, it will change your hunger level for DE's!!!  Have fun.  (jealous, yes).

Today a shareholder meeting for a company my client is targetting was postponed from May 4 to May 11. Yesterday I thought I'd miss Trackmasters. Now it looks good, but if the meeting is adjourned further (and it may well be), I may miss Cups and Saucers. Basically, I'm trying to do more than I should in the hope I do enough!

I've thought about club racing, too, and will talk with you and others in RTR about it. I cannot really race my current car (it would be in A with much faster cars) and I'd want a full cage and I'm not ready to do that to this car. I thought about a race car and tow rig for next year, too, and it's possible, but I still have a lot to learn about driving well in DE (thanks for riding with, and teaching, me!). I had a lot of fun last weekend and I'm looking forward to getting more seat time.

Chris,

You will find the club race group is very laid back.  Alot of fun.  Plenty of seat time and you will get faster just doing the practice sessions.  Just need to watch your mirrors and be predictable.  Once your do a couple of races, start working on moving up the field.

Chris, I'm also heading up for Cups & Saucers.  Let me know if you run out of space in your car w/Pocono immediately after this event.

However, if you're unable to get there, I'd gladly use and reimburse you for your garage.  And have space for other RTR people.

It would be a shame if you had to miss it.  You've been reminding us of it long before registration opened.
