I just figured out that our Jefferson Circuit DE runs concurrently with the 12 Hours at the Point SCCA race on the big track. If you're doing the DE, you might want to sneak over to the spectator area and give a peek. Our team will be driving the white #70 Miata, and our goal is to finish, cleanly if possible.

There will be about 50 cars in all classes on the track at the same time. After dusk there will be lights on the cars, lots of big, bright lights. Blinding lights. Flamethrowing lights. I'm really looking forward to having them in my mirrors.

The published schedule can be found here: http://www.wdcr-scca.org/LinkClick.aspx?...3&mid=1140, but the highlights are:

Friday, June 13, Practice and Qualifying: 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Saturday, June 14, Race: Noon to Midnight

Wish us luck.

Chris - Nice to see you at Watkins Glen this past Sunday afternoon.  Glad you had good weather after all.  My Monday and Tuesday at WGI with NASA were absolutely perfect.

See you at Jefferson / SP .

Chris, I didn't get a chance to come over and introduce myself to you at our last DE. I'll do a better job of looking you up at this event. Here's to wishing you much success in this race.
