Rooms have been reserved at the Ramada Inn Pocono for Thursday, Friday and Saturday for the RTR MAW event at a group rate of $89 per night. You must mention Reisentoter for the discounted rate.

We need auction items for the Banquet. Things that have worked out great in the past are: vacation rentals, sporting event tickets, gift certificates to restaurants, gift certificates to tire suppliers and mechanics, Porsche Paraphenalia.

Paddock spaces will be auctioned off again this year. Send your bid to bill.moffitt.iii@smithbarney.com by September 10.

Have you considered some sort of proxy bidding, that would enable individuals who for some reason are unable to attend to nevertheless bid on items (and therefore likely increase the money raised)?  At a minimum I suppose it would require publicising the items up for auction (live and/or silent), and establishing some means for absentee bidders to confidentially submit bids.

Very good point.  A buddy of mine runs an auction house in Chester Springs, and "left bids" account for a decent portion of his business.
