I was waiting to see if anyone started a thread on this and several RTR members have already posted about it on Rennlist.

The Rolex 24 hour endurance race at Daytona was dominated by Porsche with wins in the DP (Daytona Prototype) and GT (Grand Touring as in Porsche GT3) classes.  In DP, David Donahue driving for Brumos Porsche pulled of an amazing victory holding off Juan Pablo Montoya for the final hour.  David was a man with a mission. David is a familiar face to Many RTR members who have met him at meetings and most recently at a couple of RTR DE's.  He calls Malvern Home. Congratulations to the entire Brumos team and David Donahue. The second Brumos Porsche finished 3rd.

In GT is was Porsche with TRG finishing 1st and 2nd.

I thought it was humorous when Montoya said in the interview at the end of the race regarding how well the Porsche was pulling from him "it's really unfair". The irony is that about 2-3 hours before the end of the race his teammate Scott Pruett said "I'm afraid the only way we're going to beat them today is for them to have something break". Brumos had definitely brought their 'A' game to that race. This could be a promising season in Grand Am.

How about the battle between TRG & Farnbacher Loles? Wow, that was really exciting. It's too bad the 86 car broke down. I would have loved to see that finish.

The Prototypes were extremely fast.  So much so, that it looked like the GT3's were just getting in the way.
