A journal is an excellent suggestion.  I thought the notes on my BlackBerry would serve much the same purpose -- until the data somehow got wiped out.   I also usually note such information in my spreadsheet maintenance logs (but inexplicably failed to).

Frankly, don't recall the decisionmaking process leading to the purchase of the G-Force R1s, but I know it was after reading many Forum postings/recommendations.  Probably most critical was the opinion of my mechanics, in whom I have great faith.

These tires are exclusively for the track.  Unlike the Michelin PSCs -- and, indeed, every single other tire I have used in the past at the track -- I don't plan to also drive these on the street (though I suppose they are, technically, street legal?).  Just looking at the [absence of] tread would make me feel suicidal using them on the street.  I know that dedicated track use broadens the attractive possibilities, but nevertheless went with the BFGs.
