Hang in there Larry - spots usually open up as the event gets closer. Weddings, the beach, car trouble & the always possible kaboshing of the event from a significant other, are all possible. Keep the faith.

you'll get confirmed after Carol goes through the registrations and makes sure that things are in order.  For Shenandoah, I think that it took about 2 weeks (but I could be wrong).  You'll get an email telling you that you are confirmed.
