Can anyone recommend a motel at Watkins Glen? It's been over 10 years since I was there last and I would appreciate suggestions.

Seneca Lodge. Best bar in the village, and maybe the state. Restaurant is quite good. Motel rooms are reasonable.

The Falls has nicer rooms, but a drive from the Seneca bar.

I've stayed at the Seneca Lodge, Glen Motor Inn, and Harbor House once. I've stayed at the Falls 9 times. Go to the Seneca or Glen Motor Inn to relive Watkins Glen in the 50s. Bringing a significant other? Harbor House is by far the best, $$$. The Falls is clean, quiet, and very close to the track and reasonable $.

When my wife accompanied me to the Glen I suggested Harbor House. She did a bit of on-line research and found a comment that it was best for high maintenance spouses. She suggested we stay at Seneca Lodge, as I regularly do. :-)

It's hard to find a documentary on F1 or racing in the US that does not mention Watkins Glen, and when one does it also mentions Seneca Lodge.

Very cool place. Even if you're not staying at Seneca, stop by to check out the bar for some serious motorsports history...
