Chris -

All signed up for MMC but my understanding is that the clup will run a T&T day on the day before the race. Any idea how to sign up for that one ? Is it through the club ?
Thanks

Bob

"Breakfast and lunch are included in the test day fee of $1,000."

I suppose $1000 would seem expensive for a track day if it didn't include breakfast and lunch...

Last year seemed high at $500, talk about inflation! Got to get the Fed to stop printing money!

With all the practice time on Saturday I would expect many to skip the test day. Three 40m practice sessions and the fun race. Lots of time to learn the track.

I think you mean practice on Friday? Agree that gives most plenty of time to learn track.

Indeed, I did mean Friday.

Of the 55 confirmed racers (another 20+ are not yet confirmed) only two are RTR members. Connecticut Valley and NNJR (both close) have 11 each, but even Potomac has four. I'm surprised this race, the first RTR has sponsored in years, is not more popular with our racers.

I think the timing is less than ideal. Works for me, but too close to other races guys like to do. Mid summer may have been better for more drivers - just guessing. You should ask some of the other RTR racers why they haven't signed up. I don't have contact info for most of them. Fall Monticello race was fun!

I am RTR at heart but switching primary region to CVR made things easier with Lime Rock being my closest track and CVR being much fussier about what they call OOR instructors (Out of Region).
