Thanks.  Now I have to execute.  When I had my spin, I was going too fast through the slalom.  I got behind in the cones and tried to overcorrect.  Lifted with too much  steering input.  More seat time, more training, and more feedback!  Thanks Nick.

Nice video!  I used to autox a lot when I lived in South Carolina many years ago.  I had a '91 MR2 NA.  Great car.  I typically won my class, or spun

What's with the different colored cones????  I found the cream colored cones very hard to pick up in the video.  Was it that difficult in person as well?  What's the logic in using the different colors?  I haven't autox'ed in years so forgive me if this is the latest trend.

V, I was standing on the sideline watching where you came around, you were pushing and then I heard the lift... but you looked better each run, and I guess the instructor was pushing you... to find the edge sometimes you go past it You should get the instructors that are stationed at the start line in the car for each run if possible, they're there to help. I need seat time, too...

I also loved the course, 3rd gear for me after the turnaround I haven't driven much in the last few years, so I'm rusty and on old tires. No video, but the photographer made a slideshow of me:

It was nice to get 4 runs, though I really blew the last one overbraking for the final right hander... lost to the only other car in my class by 8/10ths, but had a great time anyway

Jack, NNJR uses the yellow cones to confuse the experienced drivers, but is an easy teaching tool......"yellow cones to your left and orange ones to your right". There has been a lot of discussion in the forum about the yellow cones, and the present AX chair agreed for them to be changed, but not under his tenure. All other venues use just the orange cones.
In the video, mine is the red 911 with the yellow carrera stripe on the side. This is realy the first video I have seen of my car actually moving. I can see how the car behaves under different imput. With the square tire set-up, the tail was just too happy at that event.
You actually FIT into that MR-2? Or more like.......ON the MR-2? that car is just a hair bigger than a Fiat X 1/9!hock:

Surprisingly, I fit really well in the 2nd Gen MR2's!

As you can see my the signature, I still have one. I love those little cars. It may be dangerous posting this statement on this forum, but there isn't a Porsche shifter made today that can come close to matching the one in my '93 MR2 Turbo with 116,000+ miles on it!

BTW - thanks for the explaination on the cones. I should have been able to figure that out on my own
