Hello, new to the list, recently purchased '08 C2S Coupe. Interested in finding reliable car wash that will hand wash the car and chamois dry somewhere on the Main Line - Lower Merion, etc. Any suggestions?

2 locations - County Line Road in Bryn Mawr and KOP Mall inside/next to Sears.

They had a Saturday $20 handwash special at the KOP location, but I don't know if it is still on.

Good guys, fair money, and good work.

They detailed my old Cayenne once at KOP. My review: Nice guys, fair money and fair work.

If you cannot find a reliable place and if you don't want to get your driveway all icy, I have always liked going to those drive-in do it yourself wash places.  Just bring your favorite bucket, soap, wash mit and chamois and do it yourself.  There are a couple $5 all you can wash places in the area!

I took her in today to Classy Automotive. Larry Cohen, the owner, struck me as a young businessman with an easygoing attitude but Focussed on delivering what his customer wants. Washed and waxed the car and certainly did as good a job as I would have - he in 31F temps that I frankly eschew for wet work. Hand wash and carnauba wax looks great. He offers pick up and drop off service by appt. and full detailing as needed.

When I first arrived another client pulled in off the road on a whim, seeing my C2S in the drive. She figured if a Porsche owner came there it must be OK. Arranged to have her sedan done. Such is the magnetic pull of the 911.

Until I stumble upon a better deal I will go back.

Thanks for the referral, I am satisfied.
