My vote would have to go to the Velvet Underground.  They started it all as far as rock goes.

I would have to say WHAM!

I feel that they are excellent musicians and song writers.  They also have had a great influence on today's musicians.Confusedhock:

In a million years I would never have guessed that you had even heard of PIL, let alone are a fan.  The Flowers of Romance is one of the best tributes to Sid Vicious ever!
