What is the absolute lowest floor jack available?

Is there anything with like a 2" clearance ?

Doesn't Griots Garage sell a really low one?  Check their catalogue or web site.  You may be pleasantly surprised(except for the priceBig Grin).

Glen, you gotta go back to school.... because you forgot to show the fulcrum in your diagram.

My jack is made by Arcan (purchased from Northern Tool on sale a while ago).  Very low profile (I think 3").  I think they're about $200.  Downside is that they are bulky and heavy as hell.

I've got two arcons. One is steel heavy as hell. And one in aluminium. Nice and light. I think I paid 225 at costco for the light one. Measured the the height at 3.5 inches. If you take the pad off its maybe an inch lower.
