The Country Inn (where I have stayed before) is full for a couple of my dates, so I reserved the Days Inn in vineland.

Have you stayed at the Days Inn and can you comment on its location/safety/cleanliness? It is cheaper than anything I have seen....

I don't know about the Days Inn, in Vineland, but I stayed at the Ramada in Vineland.  It's a nice hotel, clean rooms, secure and trailer friendly.  There is a restaurant on site and also lots to choose from to eat along the main road.  A decent breakfast is also included in the morning.  It's a little further from the track but it's all highway until you get to Millville.   It's not a bad choice.

The Ramada is more expensive than the Days Inn, but it does provide breakfast. I figured I'd stop at Wawa on the way to the track. They are owned/managed by the same company now, together with the Wyndham Wingate.

I stayed at the Ramada in Vineland also.  Clean, and it is a real breakfast!

After encountering a similar unavailability problem with Country Inn (where I had previously stayed) I made reservations at Quality Inn, which seemed to have decent reviews on TripAdvisor.

Quality Inn is rumored to attract a hourly clientele.

Maybe they consider that to be an unadvertised special amenity, or secret part of their awards program.

Having stayed at the Quality Inn I do not think that rumor to be true. However the Economy Inn which is next to the Quality seems to be a different story and it is owned by the same guy. I would not suggest that anyone stay there.
