Fellow DE Addicts:

I just returned from a 3 day DE at Circuit Mont Tremblant in Mont Tremblant (Saint Jovite) Quebec.  Holy cow......for anyone that has ever been, you'll probably agree that this track is phenomenal.  In my opinion the overall Tremblant experience trumps The Glen.

The Track, which is about 2.6 miles long, weaves through a beautiful section of the Laurentian Mountains.  Several dramatic changes in elevation combined with tight, off camber turns are just of a few of the reasons this is a beautiful, technical track.

In close proximity to the track is the village of Tremblant, which includes a four seasons resort developed by Intrawest about 20 years ago (same group that did Whistler).  We have been frequenting Tremblant for years and thoroughly enjoy all it has to offer:boating, biking, hiking, rafting, excellent entertainment, family activities, etc.  Did I mention the drinking age is 18 in Quebec and the party scene is crazy (after the kids go to bed, of course).

Anyway, this is a great opportunity to combine driving and a family vacation.  Your spouse won't even know you are gone.  Something to consider for next year.  The event is sponsored jointly by the NCR & NER regions.

Attached is a link to a short video clip from the hour-long enduro that was held on the last day.  The enduro format was pretty interesting and one we may wish to consider for the more advanced run groups.  The red Porsche 993 is driven by the owner of Rennline, manufactures of the snazzy pedal sets, floor mats, etc.
