Just looked at my car, looks like 17 should fit. In a web forum someone said that 17 rub.

Thanks for the help, this is great info! One other question that all this has brought up is, everyone's saying get new (ie different) rims with the winter tires. I hadn't really considered new rims, just swapping out the tires with the OEM rims. Then I wouldn't have to worry about the tire pressure sensors (I hope). I would have the tire shop do the changeout as it's definitely not something that I would attempt by myself (even if I had the second set of tires on their own rims). But from what all's said here, it looks like the risk of damage to the rims is kinda high....

It just costs to much to keep unmounting, mounting, and balancing tires.  Once winter is over you have to go back to summer tires.

Not only that, but each season change you need to transport your tires to the shop, then bring your Porsche to the shop and then get your Porsche and your tires home. Compared to jack up the car at home and swap the wheels. Much easier!!!

Look carefully at Tirerack season ending specials.  You may need to call.  I bought a very nice set of rims for 99.00 each and they have used for 3 years now Winter only use not track.   BTW, they premounted the tires and gave me an even better deal on Blizzacks.
