....is that all the salt should be finally off the roads.  Which means that I can once again take the car out for a "test beating"!

I just replaced the oil return tubes, and the only effective way to determine whether or not the leak is gone is to take the car on a high-speed run in order to properly heat up the oil and "stress test" the engine.

Anyone else going for a drive this weekend?

ya man. i'll be out this w/e. think i'll take off friday and get a head start. watch local law enforcment as it is that time of year.

it would be nice for some of the gravel that washed onto the roads to be gone.

enjoy

March events are generally a complete gamble. Looks like this time around you won. Enjoy the hell out of it!!

The way the weather has been in So'Jersey the past two years; they have all been a gamble. The Rolex, PCA Club race, and our MAW were all monsoon weekends!.
I have lived on the coast for the past 25 years and I remember having 1 or 2 Nor'easter's  a year. Now we seem to have at least 1 a month and since Thanksgiving it seems like 1 a week!

Unfortunately, I will not be one of able to take the car out. But I will be finished installing my seats/harnesses and torsion bars & bushings. Just in time for Apr 16,17,18. Smile

I was on the road all day today for work...driving the wagon with snow tires:?

The thought occurred to me to call the insurance agent and reactivate the policy on the Porsches.   I was preoccupied with work until I saw a chicky driving an Aston convertible pass me with the top down (car top) on I-78....truly a Chevy Chase moment.

Called the agent, was home by 5:30 and just logged 50 miles with the top down.   Bring on spring!Big Grin
