I got tired of battery acid leaks, so I switched out my 43 lb Bosch for a 21 lb Braille (Deka re-brand by most accounts) AGM battery.  I've had it for about three weeks now.  No difference in cranking from the heavy battery.  Turned over normally at 40 deg.  Haven't used the battery tender yet

I use and can get any XS battery for any type of car, street, track or DE. We use them in all the cars we build with no storage issues as with the Braile batteries.

The small Braille or equivalent lead acid based batteries have an extremely short life... the only way to go is with a good lithium ion battery.

I’ve been experimenting with the anti-gravity AG30 on my 991 C2S. Restart feature is great in that if the battery is drained, it shuts off while saving enough energy to start the car. All you have to do is hit the “restart” button.

That said, last weekend I had a strange issue with the battery while returning from Watkins Glen, so reserving judgment till I figure it out!
