Sorry for the last minute notice, but if anyone is interested there is an informal gathering planned for this morning at the former site of Magarity Ford in Chestnut Hill (8200 Germantown Avenue) from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00.

I understand the following cars were planning to show up (but the Spyker can't make it):

1. 08' Ferrari 430 spider
2. 92' Ferrari 512TR
3. 02' Ferrari 360
4. 91' Ferrari 348TS
5. 06' Viper Srt-10 (modded)
6. 05' Lamborghini Gallardo (modded)
7. 05' Aston Martin DB9
8. 09' Porsche 911 997 TT
9. 00' Porsche Carrera Cab. C2 (modded)
10. Lamborghini Murcielago LP-640-4 Roadster (light mods)
11. Spyker C8 spyder SWB
12. 08' Mecedes CLK63 AMG Black Series

Yes, it certainly was fun, and quite an interesting assortment of cars, even though some (like the Spyker) that were originally planning to show up this time were no shows. On the other hand, I think you left before the Murcielago appeared. Quite a vehicle! (And one of my favorites was the Lotus -- what a timeless design!)

These informal gatherings are planned for every third Saturday of the month, though I'm not sure if they'll all be as conveniently located for both of us as the large lot in Chestnut Hill. You can check details on the Elite Speed Culture website,

http://www.elitespeedculture.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=3

Unfortunately I won't be there next month -- I'll be in Nawlins.

If anyone is interested, there will be another, similar gathering in Chestnut Hill this Sunday, May 2, 11:00-5:00.

Likely appearances, at a minimum:

1. Aston DB9 with tint and 20"
2. Modded Viper Srt-10
3. Modded Porsche 911 Carrera with GT3 front.
4. Shelby AC Cobra
5. Supercharged (modded) GT40 (pending)
6. Spyker C8 Spyder (is coming)

They're a dime a dozen, nothing special.

Almost like Porsches.

(Though if you had stopped by two weeks ago at the prior Chestnut Hill gathering, there were two -- a F430 and 512TR.)

George,

All I basically know about the location Sunday is the following, which was posted by the organizer (Manny, who apparently also sponsors "Elite Speed Culture"), at

http://www.elitespeedculture.com/showthread.php?tid=107 :

Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival (Sunday-May 2, 2010)

The 2010 Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival is a really cool family event in the Philadelphia area from (11am to 5pm). I have gotten the green light from the Chestnut Hill's
Business Association, allowing Elite Speed Culture's forum members to display their rides along with me at the festival. For more info read link below and PM me for where ESC is going to setup in the festival, for those who would like to join up.

Unfortunately, although it is only about a mile from my house, I will not be able to attend; will be at LBI this weekend.
