Hope that you can join your fellow RTRs on a drive through the southern Chester County hunt country on Sunday Oct 10th. After some nice scenery and a twisty road or two, we'll end the drive at the Dilworthtown Inn's annual wine festival. This year's event, Crush Cancer, benefits the Chester County Hospital. The drive is free, but if you'd like to stick around for the festival, tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. Details below:

http://www.cchosp.com/cchpage.asp?p=455

Meet at the Home Depot Concordville Town Center (corner of Rtes 1 and 322) between 10 and 10:30am on Sunday Oct 10th. Drive starts at 10:30, ending at the Dilworthtown Inn in time (hopefully) for the start of the festival at 12:00. More to follow on the website soon.

If you'd like to join us, please PM me and I'll add you to the list. Hope to see you there!

Everyone,

Need to adjust the start time a little per request of the festival organizers. They've arranged on site parking for us and have asked us to be there ahead of the festival start (nlt 11:30). With that request, will be moving up the meeting and start times by a half an hour. Same meeting location. New time, meet at 9:30-10:00, leave at 10:00.

Sorry for the change, just received word this afternoon.

As you may have heard, the Unionville/Chadds Ford area where the Chester County drive is being held was hit hard with the flooding of the Brandywine River on Friday. I'm happy to report that the water is back in the Brandywine where it belongs and the roads are clear. So, the route is good for next week's scenic drive. Wanted to get the word out to everyone's that signed up so far. Also, there's still room if you'd like to go....

It's at the corner of Rtes 1 and 322 in Concordville. The shopping center is the Concordville Town Center. See you then.

Looks like the weather is going to cooperate, sunny and low 70's.Smile

A great ride this morning PG. Thanks a million for arranging it. Wish I could have relaxed for the afternoon with the rest of your crew but grandparenting duty called.  One of my better rides recently. I've filed the driving directions because I have every intention of doing it again. Well done!
