Odd blue on edges of rear tires?

Is it true that you're making the Opulence quote a part of your landscaping company's marketing efforts for 2011? If so, I think you should put a miniature giraffe picture on the rear quarter panels of the 911.

Darren, don't you have that backwards? If you're punishing the outside of the tires, that means you need MORE negative camber. You got to tilt those babies in further so the outside edges don't get rolled over.

No....I'm suggesting they are blue because they are barely ever touching the road on the outside edge.  The tire is getting heated as the middle and inside edges get hot -- the heat then transfers to the outside edge and causes the discoloration.

He'd have to check the tire temps to see what is going on for sure.  Another symptom would be of course that the outside edge of the tire wouldn't be worn as much.

If you go by the little diamonds for tire wear they are wearing right to the points.

picture is worth.........................  Sounds like uneven heat.  If your marbled on the rest of the tire then the setup issue, springs comes into play.   Without active tire temps as Darren suggests your guessing somewhat.

OK, tire guys.... what causes cupping? My drivers' side front tread looks like scalloped potatoes. I was running below the normal "42 hot" I ran in the summer -- maybe under inflated?
