Question....for the non-instructed groups (ie. black group), are two seats required?

I do not think a second seat is required. I'm sure Brian Minkin will chime in.

my understanding is that you only need 2 seats in the instructed groups.  However, with the instructor blitz that has been happening in white, they should probably have one, too.

Two seats and like restraints are only required in the instructed groups.  However even intructors still continue to learn by having other instructors ride with them from time to time.  And as Steve said the white group is one of the focal points of our DE program to receive advanced instruction. So I would suggest unless you are a profesional driver that two seats would be benificial to any participant in our DE progam.

Two seats are not required, but are encouraged. We would like to see instructors in advanced cars on occasion, even in black.
