I'm putting this out as a feeler;  I am a big fan of racing go karts because it's so competitive and inexpensive.  I have been going to a place in Delaware close to Wilmington called Mid Atlantic Grand Prix.  www.midatlanticgrandprix.com

On Wednesday nights, they have unlimited racing for $50 from 5pm till 10pm:  you can race until your arms fall off!   They don't require you to bring any gear, but they will requie a one-time yearly membership of $25.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting a group together to go down on a wednesday for some friendly competition Cool

If it were closer, maybe. But getting down to Wilmington, driving for a couple hours, then making the trek back home so I can be up by 4am would suck. However, I'm not saying I'm 100% out... Cool

Usually, if I get down there around 5pm, I'm exhausted by 9- karting really takes it out of you. I agree with Jon- if we had a solid group, I think it would be worth losing a bit of sleep over :-D

If we have a large enough group, we could probably reserve the track as a PCA event some night or even weekend.

I brought this idea up at the last board meeting, and supposedly the PCA doesn't allow karting as a club activity. That being said, if a group of us want to go, there is nothign stopping us from meeting up down there :dude:

Count me in for Lehigh Valley GP. It's only 25 minutes from my house. It's a great place to unwind.

I'm in for an event at Lehigh Valley GP too.

I set one up last year there and am glad to do again if needed.  It was awesome!  I'd suggest January time frame....

As an aside, I'm also considering renting one of the NJMP circuits over the winter.  Cheap rates, though they only allow 6 cars on track at a time.  Assuming 12 cars total the cost would be $350 for the day meals included.  That's an insane amount of track time!  PM me if interested.
