Welcome to the world of Porsche.  Nick is clearly one of our fastest drivers.  He's been doing this sport for many, many years.  Perhaps being chased by dinosaurs has sharpened his skills.  Seriously, Nick is one of the people that persuaded me to stay in after a rather dramatic off track experience at my first DE.

No worries about that with AX.   Truth is even with that turbo car of yours you'll never get over 30 MPH.  Get your account on Motorsportreg.com.  You can then see who is attending the Philly SCCA events.  Like Nick said, if you find the Porsche guys they'll give you a home.  I did my first AX at Warminster.  You'll be fine.  It will be crowded but its WWII runway with 200 yrads of grass all around it. 

AX and DE definately compliment each other.  They are not mutual exclusive as some would have you believe.  I ran every RTR AX and DE one season.  I don't recommend that if you are and wish to stay happly married.

Thanks very much for the input everyone.  Since I will only be able to fit one of these in this month I think I will try the Hershey event on the 25th.  That seems to be a central PA PCA event and hopefully more of ya'll will be there.  I look forward to meeting you and learning.  See you soon.

Millions of dollars have been spent.  Countless thousands of hours have been completed.  Hundreds of papers have been published in esteemed publications including the New England and British Journals of Medicine by the most notable clinicians, scientists and lettered professors from around the world.  It is now an undisputed fact that can never been refuted or denied ad infinitum; chicks dig guys who can heel toe.

Good choice; CPA-PCA is a great bunch of guys.  They limit their AX's to 60 cars.  The lot is huge and the course covers a large part of it.  They also like long straight aways.  Just what that Turbo needs to stretch her legs.

We (John (16) and I (never mind)) are planning on attending Hershey on the 25th.   This will be his first autoX.  Holding off on registration until we see the weather forecast.

Look forward to meeting you Kelley.  I think you'll find the autoX folks to be a friendly & helpful bunch.

Philly SCCA will be holding an autoX novice school 4/29 in Warminster.  Great instructors and lots of seat time.  http://www.phillyscca.com/solo2/index.html for info.  Note that presently, the registration site has info left over from last year.  School will be in Warminster.

Yes, I noticed that at the SUDS anual (bianual) meeting. You have aquired the skill of using your toes to do more than one task!...... and walking is NOT one of them.

Registered this morning for the Hershey AX on the 25th!  For those Reisentoters going, I checked "work first" on the preferences box, that will give the track a little time to warm up before we have a go at it.  See you there!
