Replacement for August Event #5

Unfortunately, I could not get us our own lot/runway/etc. to host our own event this year, so for our august event we will have to piggy back on another club's event. Here are our choices:

August 4th - Northern New Jersy SCCA at The Meadowlands
August 19th - Philly SCCA at Citizen's Bank Park
August 19th - PCA Northern Jersey at Giant's Stadium

Didn't see that one listed on motorsport reg.. good suggestion

I second the lcccpa event.  Low key event and would be great practice against the 'Vettes for the challenge coming up in Sep.

I third that one as well.

Lancaster Corvette club do not use the Motorsport Regs to advertise their events.

But they are very well organized, and competitive too,...

Please, can we make this happen, August is already on our toes, some of us like to plan vacation/work around these events. So knowing in advance is a big plus for increase of attendance,...

Sounds like a winner to me. I will get the website updated, and this will become the official #5 event for the championship points.

Since this is now our official August event, and we did not have a formal autocross picnic/BBQ I am offering to host a BBQ (Burgers and Dogs) at my house right after the Lancaster Corvette event. (I promiss the grill will be operational this time,.. )

So for all of those who are daring enough to attend the Corvette event, it would be my pleasure to have you at the Casa de la Roy on Sunday August 19.

I will supply the munchies, and some beverages (mostly Canadian and South of the border cervesas). Let me know if you plan on coming and will plan for enough food.

Sounds great, Stephane, thanks!  I'll bring some soft drinks & chips, if that'll help.  Don't forget to remind everyone that you live in Delaware so they better fill up before heading over. 

BTW - I'd like to have a moment of silence for the proud Targa that gave it's life for Busch Garden's new rollercoaster, Verbolten...
