RTR Summit Point 16/17AUG!

I just registered for this event after my little oopsy at Shenandoah... well, not mine really, I blame the PO who raced the car before me.

Burned a hole through an exhaust valve. Since purchasing the car I have undone a lot of the not-well-done things the PO did, and have property monitoring set up. Still running a little rich at the top, but I will be able to adjust that once Rogue Tuning releases their next widget.

1 new head later (plus some other small things while in there...) I am back and ready to participate.

Trying to see where the tech session for this is going to be. Anything to know about this track? I hear it's a favorite of some.

Tech for this event is at Possum Hollow/ Phoenix Performance in Phoenixville.

Lots of video of Summit Main on you tube.  It is a fun track.

It's a really fun track. I always thought it was a nice blend of high speed and technical. Reasonably easy to get the basic line and then spend the rest of the time trying to pick up the nuances. Can't make it as it's midweek, but can't wait to get down there in Oct. Enjoy.

Summit Point is a great track and I'm sure you'll have a great time. I can't go with you all due to work schedule conflict (sucks...), but have already been there this year in April and going back next month the weekend before RTR DE.

Anything to know? Well... before Turn 1 and Turn 5 are HARD braking zones. And beware of wildlife......

Rearranged my business trip to attend. Flying back late Wednesday night, I'll get a couple hours of sleep, get up at 4:00 A.M. And drive out. Gotta give that rebuilt motor a workout.
