Specs
• Pro-build 1994 Showroom Spec Miata (SSM) Race Car
• Sealed 1.6 crate engine (new 2010)
• Fully stripped interior
• Interior painted white
• SCCA legal Piper Roll Cage with full SFI padding
• Torsen limited slip differential
• SCCA racing log book
• Race transponder
• Regulation Spec Miata Bilstein suspension
• Halo race seat
• 6 pt Schroth seat belts
• Momo quick release steering wheel
• Master cut off switch
• Koyo race radiator
• Mesh style window net with single point release
• Car runs 1.29.x at Summit Point on Toyo RA-1s = top 10 car
• This is a SSM / SM car currently in SSM spec – it can run in both SSM and SM classes and can easily be updated to SM only with new exhaust system.
• Cheap running and maintenance costs – spec brake rotors are $25 each vs $400 for a Porsche!
• Cheap crash repair costs – generally you just beat it out with a baseball bat


How fast can it go – watch this video of my old SSM car = 100 mph at the APEX of Turn 4 at Summit Point -- this new car is 1s per lap faster than the old car so you could even top the tonne:
