I saw this referenced on the news last night. There are several things terrifying about this. The first is that it's not just phone use. Many scenes you can hear music stations changing. Then there's the almost casual relief of the driver when they know they're ok. Finally is the most obvious. The nearly absence of focus on the most critical activity. Driving.

Very, very scary.
