Pleased to report that we had a lively group at the Buttonwood Grill in Peddler's Village this evening! Despite the rain, the happy hour attracted members from all around, including New Jersey, Doylestown, a wonderful couple that literally lives around the corner from me, and some folks from RTR's traditional stomping grounds out west (or at least West Chester).
In addition to great food and drink, we talked engine rebuilds, Club Coupes, a bit of politics, track days, favorite colors for Porsches of all kinds (pretty sure the winner was green), economic development, why your garage should be bigger than your house, the price of gas, and, of course, the weather. And, to my wife's delight, I still made it home in time to put the kids to sleep . . .
I'd love to put a few more of these together over the course of year, especially for those of us that find it hard to get out of the Upper Bucks/Hunterdon/Mercer areas during the after-work, family-dinner rush hour. Suggestions?
Here's a few options I thought of that have good parking and are pretty accessible by backroad or highway. Would appreciate any input on which locale might work best for all.
