Has anyone ever taken the rear console storage tray apart? I'm trying to get at this area:

My car has the "AUX" option to the CDR-30; unfortunately this option inexplicably deletes the 12V outlet that's shown in the picture. I want to get in there to add a source of (hopefully switched) 12V so I can at least charge whatever device I may end up connecting there.
